Blog Hop Theme
“What is your favorite Christmas Movie?”

I am personally a book person but let me think…
There is a few I like.

First thing that comes to my mind is ..

MV5BMjE3NTA5MDc1OV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNzkxNTcxMQ@@__V1_SY317_CR4,0,214,317_AL_Synopsis: Repelled by the commercialism he sees around him, Charlie Brown tries to find the true meaning of Christmas.

The reason there is more to Christmas than just materialism… It’s a season of giving and getting together but most of all Christ who was born. (There is a few that know I am slightly religious but I don’t go shouting from the roof tops about it. My father is a reverend and I was raised in a household where religion was…).

My second one would be..

MV5BMTM1NTU0NTE4MV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMTQ0MjEzMw@@__V1_SY317_CR0,0,214,317_AL_Synopsis: On Christmas Eve, a doubting boy boards a magical train that’s headed to the North Pole and Santa Claus’ home.

The reason being is that this a family tradition that we read the book (Each of my daughters have their own copy of the book. We take turns reading a page from the book.) the weekend before Christmas Eve then afterwards we bake cookies. We watch the movie before bed on Christmas Eve is another tradition in my house.

Now tell me your favorite holiday movie. Why?

Don’t forget to enter in my giveaway for a $10 Amazon GC.

  1. I have a bunch of favorite Christmas movies. They are in no particular order: It’s A Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street, starring a very young Natalie Wood, White Christmas with Bing Crosby, A Christmas Carol starring Alistair Sim, Home Alone 1 & 2, Die Hard (I know it’s not an actual Christmas movie, but its set around Christmas time) and the animated version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Of course Christmas would not be complete without “A Charlie Brown Christmas”.
Thanks for being part of this fun hop and for the chance to win.

  2. I love to watch Gone with the Wind at Christmas time, there is a good scene where Christmas is a big part of the movie. There are so many though that make me think of Christmas.

  3. My favorite holiday movie is A Christmas Story and Frosty the Snowman. Both of them bring back good memories from when I was young. A Christmas Story is humorous and Frosty has a great message.
I love most Christmas cartoons though, like Rudolph, Baby New Year and so on. 🙂
    Thank you for sharing yours!

  4. My favorites are the Home Alone movies and Grinch who Stole the Christmas. I watch the every year during the holiday season.
