Guest Post from the author:
How did Skydreamer come about?
I got the idea for Skydreamer back in 98. A few people have asked me why it took so long? My answer is always it’s complicated. I had no clue what I was doing. I had so much to learn. I’ve re-written this novel so many times. The stacks of re-writes are stashed all over my office. I kept telling my best friend about this story that was in my head and she told me to “stop telling me all about it and write it down.”
I did. Are their more books in the Skydreamer series and will Jaden or Isla be in them? I’ve some ideas but nothing on the scope of Skydreamer. I’m working on the second book, it centers around Draven’s nephew Tholi. I believe that Isla and Jaden may appear but in smaller capacities. At this time, I have no plans to write more about Jaden. I feel her story is finished. However, if she nudges me with an idea… I’m not sure how I’ll be able to resist. (Grin)
