Handle with Care by Kristine Cayne (A Review)

Handle with Care (Six-Alarm Sexy)Note: Handle with Care is an in-between novella. To obtain maximum enjoyment, it should be read in sequence, or at least after having read Under His Command.

Following a long-delayed honeymoon that saved their crumbling marriage, firefighter Dom Jamie Caldwell couldn’t be happier with how his wife and submissive is taking to the lifestyle. But when a scene triggers a bad reaction and Erica doesn’t use her safeword, Jamie wonders just how solid their bond truly is.

Just months ago, they’d been on the verge of divorce, but now the future is bright—all thanks to the trust and honesty they’ve forged through BDSM. Everything they do is new and exciting… until it isn’t. And neither one knows how to move forward after Erica’s body betrays her.

When a medical condition turns everything they know upside down, can Jamie and Erica find a way to strengthen their fragile connection?

A Review by Beckey

Another edition to the six alarm series, one that has been a great read so far in this series. This one take the reader into the lives of Jaime and Erica. Just like the other ones in the series it does share the same heat  but also there is more to the story itself.. an exploration of an emotion connection and bond that was unique and interesting.

Overall a great 5 star read.

About the author

Kristine Cayne is fascinated by the mysteries of human psychology—twisted secrets, deep-seated beliefs, out-of-control desires. Add in high-stakes scenarios and real-world villains, and you have a story worth writing, and reading.

The heroes and heroines of her Deadly Vices series, beginning with Deadly Obsession, are pitted against each other by their radically opposing life experiences. By overcoming their differences and finding common ground, they triumph over their enemies and find true happiness in each other’s arms.

Today she lives in the Pacific Northwest, thriving on the mix of cultures, languages, religions and ideologies. When she’s not writing, she’s people-watching, imagining entire life stories, and inventing all sorts of danger for the unsuspecting heroes and heroines who cross her path.
