To me the story was predictable and I found the characters a bit annoying. Overall just an ok to pass the time kind of story that I don’t foresee continuing the series..

Cora Zane lives in an area of northern Louisiana known as “out in the sticks”. She’s currently a full time college student, and her daily routine usually involves sweating the small stuff while trying to keep up with her husband, two boys, a stray cat who moved in unannounced, and a pair of spoiled “Cajun poodles” who think they are people.
