Faerie’s Ring (A #Promo with an Author Guest Post)

Inspiration behind the series – Guest Post

Faeries, nymphs, angels, vampires are mystical elements of the world that intrigue me. Faerie’s Ring, a Sedona series came from my curiosity with this universe and other life forms.

I’ve always asked the question what else is out in the universe beside humans.

The concept of three realms in my series came from the ideology of trinity of three: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Let me assure you this novel isn’t about religion. It’s a journey into my own perception of the trinity that exists in the universe.

Thus, I created the celestial, terrestrial, and human realms. A chosen individual from each realm must work together to balance the positive and negative energy in the world. It opens the doors to the idea that other realms or dimensions exist beyond our own.

Sedona, a town of luscious red rock with its vortex energy draws people from around the world to experience it’s healing energies. My writer’s brain asked, what would happen if a dark force invaded the city and began changing the energy to one of negativity? In response to this negativity the gates of the celestial realm closes the vortex channels. Human souls and prayers failed to reach the angelic realm leaving them to suffer at the hands of a fallen angel bent of revenge.

In the terrestrial realm, Sandovia, a sidhe community borders the human city of Sedona. The sidhe also is experiencing the effects of the negativity. A prophecy from the oracles reveals the danger the world faces should the three realms fail in their ability to balance the energies flow.

As I write book two in the series I find my story has become an urban fantasy with its roots in the hero’s journey. My heroine faces her darkest moment when all of destiny is placed on her shoulders. She must deal with her own anger, guilt, and fear.

I hope you enjoy the journey of the reunification of magick, spirit, and physical as my characters confront the challenges of the heart and face their own dark demons to save all of us.
