VS Morgan, Plans for the New Year (A Special New Years Guest Post)

Plans for the New Year
So happy to be here today! Always a great time of year to reflect on the previous year and make goals for the next. So what can readers expect from me in 2016?
Rex’s Mate will be releasing in audio format. I don’t have a release date yet but will likely be in early spring.
I’m focusing on writing two stories to get published in 2016. One story has the working title “Jared’s Place.” Jared is the third brother of the Malone family/Men of Blackbird. His older brothers Wyatt and Sam were featured in “The Gift” and “Sam’s Temptation.” In “Jared’s Place,” we will return to Blackbird Ranch and see many familiar faces. Jared’s love interest will be an LAPD homicide detective/mystery writer who is in Montana seeking psychological care for his young nephew who witnessed his mother being shot and killed in a horrible accident. Jared will also be dealing with a jealous ex who is not willing to let him go, even though he’s engaged to someone else.
The other story is the continuation of the shifter assassins. Akio Tamashiro aka Den Mother is the leader of the group of assassins featured in “Hunter’s Mark” and “Rex’s Mate.” In “Akio’s Match,” Den Mother finds his own match in a most unlikely shifter among his ranks. I won’t go into too much detail in case you haven’t had a chance to read, “Rex’s Mate” yet.
I have a number of other stories squirreling around in my head, which I will work on as I can. There are two additional Malone brothers who will have stories, and I’m have at least one more story in mind for the shifter assassins. There’s a superhero/cop story that really wants to get out there, and a few other story ideas I’ve been kicking around.
I’ll also be attending my first author/reader conference in October 2016. Midwestern Book Lovers Unite (MBLU) in Bloomington, MN. If you’re in the area, would love to meet you!
