Solara Gordan Special Guest Post

unnamedNVTCY70STogether Again started out as a novella idea about what if you returned home to the small town you moved away from to escape your past.

The idea grew into a larger story with Tim and Susan dealing with unresolved issues and unanswered questions.  The more I wrote this, the more I saw two people

caught up in the past. Two couples came to mind as Tim and Susan acted upon their mutual desire and chemistry. In many ways, they are like those of us finding second chances at love.

A widow, a divorcee, and a single person whose heart broke over the one who got away all are looking for their second chances at romance and love. Sometimes we have to work through our own past and history to fall in love with our job, our selves and the characters we write.

Orlando tugs at my heart.  I’ve got family and friends as well as acquaintances in the area. Take time to hug your loved ones, offer a kind word to those you meet, and be kind.   Remember:

Many give their lives to keep us safe and alive. Many lost their lives in the blink of an eye, beat of a heart, and a breath. There are no words to describe the pain and anguish felt by many.

[Siren Allure: Erotic Contemporary Romance, M/F, HEA]

Tim Smith wants a second chance with his first love, Susan Nealson. Convincing Susan he’s worth a second chance isn’t going to be easy. Given his on-again-off-again ex-boyfriend past with her, he isn’t sure how to proceed, due to the apology he believes he owes her, and his divorce.

When Susan agrees to be a mutual friend’s maid of honor, Tim might have the incentive he’s looking for. Susan isn’t anticipating being paired up with the dateless best man, Tim. She wouldn’t turn down a chance to revisit their past sexual chemistry. Beyond that, she’s unsure taking a risk on Tim is in her best interest.

Giving first loves a second chance requires letting go of the past and embracing what today offers. When their chemistry ignites into more than sex, can they move past their botched history and embrace their second chance at love? Or will they remain stuck in the past trying to correct it?
